Small Scholarships
towards Catholic School Tuition
for Parishioners of St. Mary’s, Pylesville, MD.
The CATHOLIC EDUCATION FUND (CEF) is a non-essay scholarship which assists parishioners of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Pylesville, MD, in sending their children to Catholic elementary, middle, and high schools.
By providing small scholarships ($500-$1000), it is the hope of CEF that the financial challenge in choosing Catholic education will be slightly eased.

for Retreats, Service Camps, Conferences,
and Other Formation Opportunities
for High School Age Parishioners of St. Mary’s
The EIGHT FIFTEEN PYLESVILLE (EFP) High School Formation Fund is a non-essay scholarship set up to assist High School age parishioners of St. Mary’s attend retreats, work camps, conferences, and other formation opportunities.
By providing full or partial financial aid, the EFP hopes to strengthen the Catholic faith and identity of the participants, and through them assist all who will benefit from their witness and service.
The name of the fund is taken from the main feast day of our parish - St. Mary of the Assumption. Every year, on August 15th (8/15), the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
