The Bethany Team is a dynamic ministry at the heart of our church, named after the town of Bethany, where Jesus often visited and where many gatherings took place during His earthly ministry. Just as Bethany was a place of fellowship, and joy, we seek to create a welcoming space for our community to come together in Faith, Family, and Food. Through fun, engaging events, we aim to evangelize and build connections in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.
We meet every 2nd Sunday of the month from 9:00-10:00 AM to brainstorm and plan, focusing on our goal to build community through creative activities that inspire joy and connection.Our signature events are designed to bring people together and strengthen the bonds of faith, including:- Bethany Nights: 3 lively summer evenings, one in each month of June, July and August, featuring food trucks, live music, and outdoor movies under the stars on the picnic grounds. These are nights of fun, fellowship, and food for the whole family!
- Star of Wonder: A breathtaking outdoor light display, created by our parishioners, that transforms our campus into a winter wonderland. Visitors can walk or drive through a stunning display of creativity, enjoy hot cider, hot chocolate, mulled wine, and refreshments, including s’mores by an open fire. The event also features a live Nativity and is open from December through Epiphany, with the opening night celebrated during the annual Christmas Tree Lighting.
- Other memorable events include Line Dancing Nights, Basket Bingo, and The Chosen, and Family movie nights—each designed to bring our parish family together in fun and meaningful ways.
Our goal is to host six events per year, each full of fellowship, laughter, and opportunities for spiritual connection. But we can’t do it alone!
